Russian special forces used the Sosna-N robotic sniper detector during a special military operation, TASS informed on September 29.

“A batch of Sosna-N anti-sniper complexes was purchased for special units and successfully tested in the zone of Russia’s special military operation,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

It is noted that the complex is a laser-optical installation, which scans the space around it and finds any optical devices of the enemy. The complex is controlled by a tablet. It operates at a distance of up to 3,000 meters.

Sosna-N can also create a visual obstacle for the enemy. It was shown for the first time during the Army-2021 forum.
